Artist’s Alley is a moderated marketplace.
When you submit an item, our moderators review it before it appears in the marketplace.
Why?
Because we want Artist’s Alley to stay focused on the artists, crafters, and makers who actually make the things they’re selling.
Most items are approved in under 24 hours, although especially busy posting periods may take longer.
And as we get to know you and your work, you may eventually earn the ability to post items instantly. Ethical business practices are rewarded here!
Wait… what counts as an item?
Good news: variations don’t automatically count as separate items.
For example, if you make a shirt in pink, blue, and red, those can be variations of one listing.
But three completely different products shouldn’t be stuffed into one listing as “variations.”
Why?
Because customers need to be able to actually find your stuff.
